"As an enormous fan of U2 and having witnessed the original Joshua Tree tour in 1987, the 30th Anniversary tour was a must see. The classic album, in its entirety, and a massive 8K screen with new graphics by Anton Corbijn to complement the songs. The pivotal moment comes five songs in. After warming up the audience with back to back hits, the opening chords of “Where the Streets Have No Name” fill the stadium...The screen burns bright red and the band stands triumphant - taking in the scene. It’s an amazing moment. It’s over in seconds. This photo captures guitarist the Edge unable to hide his excitement. His fist pump was rarely seen again - he’s supposed to be playing! A guest appearance by hometown legend Eddie Vedder made this night even more special. An evening and tour I won’t soon forget.
