Before The Rolling Stones launched their 1975 Tour of the Americas (TOTA) and their Made in the Shade two-disc collection, the band rehearsed for several weeks at the gorgeous, secluded, old oceanfront home of Andy Warhol in Montauk, on the eastern end of Long Island. The band transformed the place into a rehearsal studio and living quarters. No matter what room you walked through, beautiful light and reflections off the water lent themselves to very nice black-and white photographs.
