"I love how this photograph captures an emerging band with a retro aesthetic. I am a huge fan of Temples and loved them even more after this mysterious moment we shared. As I was photographing Marina and the Diamonds, I noticed bassist Thomas Warmsley and singer/guitarist James Bagshaw on the edge of the crowd watching her performance. After introducing myself, I asked them if I could photograph them. Without a word, they leaned into each other and gave me this shot. It was fluid and generous and ended just as silently as it had begun."
