"I have quite a soft spot for rap artists as they always put on a show and Ski Mask the Slump God at Veld did not disappoint. As a photographer, we all mentally freak out when they jump off the stage and into the pit as you’re either frantically switching lenses, in the way of rushing security and at the mercy of the artist running around. I managed to get close enough to grab this shot without any crazy obstruction and just knew that this shot would be pretty special as he hopped up onto the barricade."
