"Between the glam rock make-up, heavy metal posing and over the top special effects, a Kiss concert always provides a lot of photo opportunities. Each band member gets their own moment in the spot light and this typically involves their own personal stage. Paul Stanley used a small rotating stage set out in the middle of the audience for his solo moment. The lighting really struck me. It was predominantly a couple of white spot lights and as the stage rotated he was framed with an entirely black background. This stark background really draws the attention to the artist, particularly his costume and make-up."
