"In a previous life I was the AV manager at the Drake Hotel and one of their resident photographers. The benefits of this dual role meant I was able to install remote flashes for certain events. When Keys N Krates played the Drake Lounge for a TIFF after party I knew I wanted a strobe above the crowd and one behind the turntables to produce some lens flares. I feel this photo captures the kind of energy in the room that only comes from experiencing a big name act in an intimate venue."
