“If you’ve heard about July Talk you’ll know that their chemistry is something you can touch, and it all comes together on stage, every time. On the night I took this photograph, the audience were happily lost in Peter and Leah’s raw and electrifying energy when suddenly all went calm. I brought my camera up to my eye only to find Leah’s “predatory look.” She stared at me and me alone for a split second, that lasted forever and made me feel as though she was staring directly into my soul, sizing me up... Then, in the same brief and yet forever moment, I heard a distant voice shouting at me to press the shutter. I don’t remember doing it but since you are looking at this I guess I did...”
