"David Bowie's latest creation was The 'Glass Spider' tour in support of his 'Never Let Me Down' album. His ability to recreate himself was legendary. This was the third and last time I photographed Bowie. The stage was high, but he worked towards the front of it, making it easier to see and shoot him. This series of 5 still photographs is displayed as a cinematic strip, a nod to his kinetic energy. Bowie was a consummate performer who could transform the largest of stages, like this one, into an intimate space, showcasing his art in front of tens of thousands of people."
