“I noticed the confetti cannons set up that day and knew Arcade Fire would be using them for the end of their set. I managed to talk with security the set prior to Arcade Fire, letting them know the shot I wanted to take. Normally photographers are only able to photograph the first three songs, but from communicating with security, I was able to walk around to the sound boards so they could let me in, making me the only photographer to capture a shot like this.”
