Sound Image 2018 Registration

We are very excited to be hosting our 7th Annual Sound Image Competition. Last year's exhibition was a huge success. Almost half of the selected images have been sold and many continue to be exhibited and sold around the city! Once again, Sound Image will be part of the 2018 Scotiabank CONTACT FESTIVAL!! SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Please submit the following by email to info@analoguegallery.com as a zipped folder (images as jpegs and documents as PDFs). Please state in the email subject line your name and Analogue Gallery Submission: 1. Up to 5 images of your best music photography. Image files should be no more than 1024 pixels wide. 2. An image list (in word doc format) indicating the title and when and where each photo was taken. Entrance fee is $60 per 5 images. If you wish to submit more than 5 images, a second entry fee must be paid. Maximum of 10 images per photographer will be accepted. Entrance fee can be paid by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. Submissions are open until midnight, March 9th, 2018. **If you miss the deadline, late entrance fee is $85 per 5 images and will end at midnight, March 11th, 2018. -------------------------- NOTES - You must first submit a processing payment of $60 in order for your entry to be valid. - Analogue Gallery handles all material with care; but cannot accept responsibility for lost/damaged materials. - Images for exhibition will be selected by a committee. We will notify you of selections by March 16th*. - Selected images must be exhibition-ready (framed according to our guidelines and ready to hang) and dropped off to the gallery no later than April 28th* for the opening celebration held at a surprise location on May 3rd*, 2018. This means the framed pieces must have hanging wire already assembled on the back, secured at a location that ensures the photo hangs smoothly against the wall. - Printing & framing is available through Analogue Gallery and offered at a discount for work submitted into this show. - Exhibition images will be available for sale to the public. Analogue Gallery retains 50% commission of sold work. - By submitting your photos to Analogue Gallery, you agree to allow them to be used for promotion of the exhibition with credit given to the photographer. - By submitting your work to Sound Image, you agree that only the gallery can sell your selected photograph(s) for a period of one year from opening night. Any sales enquiries should be directed to the gallery. - The winners of the competition will receive an exciting prize pack...more info to follow! - Sound Image 2018 will be judged by an esteemed panel of industry and celebrity judges. - There will also be a Photographer's Choice Award voted by your fellow applicants. - We thank you for your submission!
