"Prior to Lido's performance at Mills Hardware, I was largely unfamiliar with her music other than the knowledge that she is a Polaris Prize recipient. The moment she walked on stage I knew that she was a unique talent and that I wanted to capture her in a unique fashion. She has a wonderful and commanding energy and my hope is that this image has captured a piece of it."
