"In 2016, Deafheaven toured with Carcass and Inter Arma in Kitchener, Ontario. For most of their powerfully charged set, Deafheaven were shrouded in complete darkness. A sudden beam of yellow light (reminiscent of the atmosphere inside the Tyrell Pyramid from the cinematic masterpiece Blade Runner), illuminated frontman George Clarke."
