"Black Rebel Motorcycle Club were performing an in-store acoustic set, prior to their show at the Phoenix. Peter Hayes had just lit a cigarette, forgetting he was inside, and put it out.
They took a request that day, and my suggestion of "Screaming Gun" was honoured.
It seemed a good fit with the songs from Howl."
