“I trekked out to the Forum in the middle of the night, sometime around 4:00am. There wasn’t a soul around and the street was eerily quiet. I set up my camera and tripod across the street, painstakingly checked my exposure and framing, and finally took this picture with a long exposure. Naturally, as soon as I released the shutter a London city bus streaked through the shot. I took a few clean takes afterward, but this was undoubtedly the one.”
