"During the late sixties Allan worked on many films often with directors such as Fellini, Dick Lester and Ken Russell. These shots were taken on the set of The Naked Runner (London, 1967), which was set to become Sinatra’s last ever film with Warner Bros. Two weeks into filming Sinatra suddenly halted all work and jetted back to L.A. to marry Mia Farrow. It was a real privilege to do this kind of work. I had a free rein to shoot whatever I liked. I’ve always had an attitude towards shooting very intimate close-ups.”
