“As I was leaving SCENE fest after a long day of shooting, I came upon this street busker playing tra- ditional Quebec style fiddle and feet outside the corner store. The contrast to what I had been shoot- ing all day was refreshing and the raw truth of his performance just drew me in. I asked if I could take a photo and he nodded yes. I never got his name and I left my card and some money for the music and the photo opp in his case on the sidewalk. I said thank you. The moment struck me as amazing as I had just spent a day under lights in a pit with numerous bands and now here I was working with another musician on a sidewalk outside the corner store.”
