"Ringo Starr in the Apple office having afternoon tea and doing an interview with Disc magazine talking about his solo projects. He was and still is one of the most affable chaps and having tea with Ringo seemed very English, mainly due to the Beatles publicist Derek Taylor who was in attendance and had the best manners and etiquette in the business. After about half an hour of tea time, Derek whispers in my ear 'Ringo has asked that you could stop taking pictures now I'd not heard this request from Ringo and thought that Derek was either making it up, or was versed in telepathy. It was just Derek's way of politely saying it's time to go."
