I covered his show at Halifax Pop Explosion, and heard there was a smaller secret show happening with him later that same night.I don’t think I’ve ever seen the same performer twice in one night, but at 3:30 a.m. I found myself in a small 80-person venue, with everyone’s arms wrapped around each other. When the show finished I asked if he would mind sitting for a quick portrait. It was 4:30 a.m. He had played two full out shows, and still had fans waiting. And yet he said yes.
