"Charles Bradley is the most electrifying performer I have ever seen. Embodying classic funk and soul he is a modern day James Brown. He is also one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of shaking hands with. In fact, he wanted to shake hands with the entire festival audience. Hundreds of people were crowding him and he wanted to thank each and every one of them for coming. I think he would have if his manager hadn't come out and forcibly dragged him off backstage."
